CONGRESSMAN JIM BRIDENSTINE TO ATTEND TOWN HALL MEETING IN COWETA JAN 29

The City of Coweta and the Coweta Chamber of Commerce are partnering together to host a Town Hall meeting on January 29 at 6:30pm with U.S. Congressman Jim Bridenstine. The town hall will be held at the City of Coweta Council Chambers located at 310 S. Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429. This Town Hall is open to the public.

Congressman Bridenstine is committed to issues that affect the smaller towns in his district. The Congressman wants to hear the concerns people in Coweta have about the direction of our country and how the federal government affects their lives.

The Congressman will begin the Town Hall with opening remarks and then open the floor for questions. For efficiency, the Congressman's staff will moderate the questions from the group.

Prior to the Town Hall, Congressman Bridenstine will meet privately with City of Coweta leaders and leaders from the community. City of Coweta Mayor, Robert Morton, is looking forward to the Congressman's visit and appreciates that he realizes the importance of our community and the issues that affect us daily as a community and as business owners. Jennifer Humphries with the Coweta Chamber of Commerce echoes Mayor Morton's sentiments and added "I look forward to partnering with all our elected officials to provide forums such as this town hall to provide a medium for the combined business and residential voice to not only be heard but acknowledged as well."

While the Congressman is in the area, he also plans to tour the Blue Bell Creameries facility in Broken Arrow, OK .
