The 10th Regional Support Group (RSG) is the U.S. Army senior operational headquarters on Okinawa providing mission command for assigned and administratively controlled units and is the senior logistics command for United States Army - Japan (USAR-J), providing theater level fuel and ammunition support for U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), deployable for contingency logistics and base camp support.

Hail and Farewell

The term, "team" was used throughout the evening as over 60 Soldiers and families members gathered to bid farewell to friends and colleagues and to welcome new members of the 10th Regional Support Group. At the close, Col. Sheila Bryant, commander, 10th Regional Support Group summarized the program.

"What I have witnessed is professionalism. For those leaving you had a positive impact on the team and I appreciate everything you have accomplished. I appreciate the support you have given this team as you have helped us move in a new direction. When some leave others coming in. Tonight we have families here and I wish to thank you for bring your children. The house is full tonight and I appreciate everyone taking time to join us. When I look around the room I see leaders and Soldiers. That means we are doing something right and treating each other well. We are bonding together. What I have said before it's not about me, it's about the team. ICHI DAN!"
