Audits

We determined that the design specifications and requirements in the request for proposal allow for full and fair competition to construct a multipurpose vessel capable of heavy icebreaking and maintaining aids-to-navigation. The audit was publicly released after the Department awarded a contract to construct the icebreaker. The audit was issued October 11 to the Chairman and ranking member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations.
