Environmental Division
The Fort Bragg DPW Environmental Division is committed to environmental excellence in all aspects of the Fort Bragg mission. In accordance with the Sustainable Management System, Fort Bragg’s environmental policy focuses the installation’s efforts on operating “The Right Way, The Green Way, All the Way”.
|
The Right Way... Obey environmental laws by being aware of Federal, State, and Fort Bragg environmental regulations. |
The Green Way... Practice pollution prevention by choosing actions to safeguard health, the environment, financial, and natural resources. |
All the Way... Keep improving by being aware of the long-term impacts of your actions and choosing to minimize them.
|
This is accomplished through promoting conservation, practicing good stewardship of natural resources and endangered species, ensuring proactive regulatory compliance, and maintaining Fort Bragg’s status as a national leader in sustainability through its Sustainable Community initiatives.
The Environmental Division is comprised of six branches – Environmental Management, Compliance, Water Management, Forestry, Endangered Species, and Wildlife – and a Cultural Resources Team that offer a full spectrum of environmental services and support. Through training, education, and awareness, the Environmental Division advances the principles of the Army’s Triple Bottom Line of Mission, Environment, and Community to create a better quality of life for our Soldiers and their families, civilian workers, and the greater community.
