SPECIAL NOTICES: 

DOCUSPTOIDEAI2 - Infrastructure, Design, Engineering, Architecture, and Integration (IDEAI) 2 - Small Business Industry Day at the United States Patent and Trademark Office Posted 2013feb05

The purpose of this notice is to specifically reach out and invite small businesses to attend an industry day to present their capabilities in relation to the draft Statement of Work (SOW).  This notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only.  This announcement is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it commit the Government in any way.  A solicitation is not available at this time.

The industry day will be held February 12, 2013, at the USPTO, Madison Auditorium South, located at 600 Dulany Street, Alexandria, VA., from 1:00 PM- 4:00PM East Standard Time (EST).  
Contractors will be provided with a small table that can seat up to four people.  Contractors may bring brochures, capabilities statements, flyers, and/or table covers/posters with their names/logo on it. Tables and Locations in auditorium will be randomly assigned.  Space is limited

The capabilities statements should address the five areas listed in IDEAI 2 of the draft SOW in which the company can demonstrate experience and past performance.  The USPTO is seeking small businesses which includes:  Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns, Veteran-owned small business concerns, HUBZone small business concerns, Women-owned small business concerns, and Small disadvantaged businesses.  This industry day will give small businesses the opportunity to meet with USPTO customers, and/or to meet other small and large businesses who are interested in a teaming or subcontracting arrangement.  Large businesses that are also interested in the IDEAI 2 requirements may also attend.

The NAICS code is 541519, and the dollar size is $25.5M.  Estimated release date of the solicitation is April 1, 2013.

Industry Day at the United States Patent and Trademark Office

The purpose of this Special Notice is to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, working closely in conjunction with the Software Development and Integration contractors, will have a forum for potential future acquisitions of the following initiatives: Patent End to End, Trademark Next Generation, and Fee Processing Next Generation.
