English Teachers Celebrate Completion of Course at Embassy

On Monday, April 20 Charge d’Affaires Eric Rubin and the Rector of the Moscow Institute of Open Education delivered commencement remarks at the graduation ceremony of the “Shaping the Way We Teach English” Teacher Education Program run by the English Language Office of the Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy Moscow. Thirty three secondary school teachers from different parts of Moscow received certificates of completion from the Embassy as well as official Ministry of Education documents certifying their completion of the 72-hour training program. The ceremony was punctuated by the signing of the second Memo of Understanding between the U.S. Embassy and the Moscow Institute of Open Education.
