Video Clips
For the benefit of documenting science and expanding public awareness, aspects of the United States Antarctic Program are periodically recorded and broadcast. As these videos compile, they are posted here to enhance your experience of Antarctica while you explore the USAP web site.

Maps and Images
Antarctica has been documented with many representations of the continent, including satellite images, aerial photographs, and cartographic items. Antarctic Webcams
The webcams provide live outdoor color images of the U.S. Antarctic stations: McMurdo Station at Ross Island, Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, and Palmer Station on the peninsula side of the continent. The images refresh roughly every 30 seconds or less; however, due to extreme temperatures, the South Pole webcam is disabled during the austral winter. |
