Public Comments

The Commission routinely seeks public comments on the substance of its hearing and briefings. Our public comment period is 30 days following the date of the hearing or briefing, unless provided otherwise. Items currently open for public comment and the process for submitting comments are listed below.

The public may submit electronic written comments on the Briefing for Municipal Policing and Courts: A Search for Justice or a Quest for Revenue to municipalfees@usccr.gov through Wednesday, June 1, 2016 – The deadline was extended beyond the traditional 30 period by Commission vote.

The public may submit electronic written comments on the Briefing for Public Education Funding Inequality in an Era of Increasing Concentration of Poverty and Resegregation to municipalfees@usccr.gov Sunday, June 19, 2016 – 30 days after the briefing.
