Colonel Kevin J. Keehn is the Wing Commander, New Jersey Air National Guard, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. He is responsible for two flying units, the 141st Air Refueling Squadron flying the KC-135R Stratotanker, and the 150th Special Operations Squadron flying the C-32B. He also commands over 25 support units, including the first Contingency Response Group in the Air National Guard. The 108th Wing, with more than 1,300 members, is an Air National Guard unit and a reserve component of the Air Force's Air Mobility Command.

Colonel Keehn was born in Jackson, NJ, and graduated from Jackson Memorial High School in 1975. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in the Strategic Air Command at Kincheloe Air Force Base, MI, and Castle Air Force Base, CA, as an in-flight refueling operator. In 1979 he was honorably discharged and joined the New Jersey Air National Guard, 170th Air Refueling Group, as a part time in-flight refueling operator while he attended Monmouth University. In 1984, he graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

Colonel Keehn was commissioned through the Academy of Military Science in April 1984. His military education includes Air Command and Staff College and Air War College. He received his pilot's wings at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi in 1984. After completing Combat Crew Training School at Castle Air Force Base, CA, he returned to the 170th Air Refueling Group as a KC-135 pilot. He has served as the 108th Operations Group Vice Commander, as both the 150th and 141st Air Refueling Squadron's Operations Director, and as the 108th Air Refueling Wing Chief of Standardization and Evaluation.
