Limited Presence Countries

USAID/East Africa supports programs in four countries in the East Africa region where there is limited or no USAID presence. Programs support a range of activities including  improved agriculture production, economic growth and trade, health, conflict mitigation, improved education access and quality, and humanitarian assistance.  Limited Presence Countries currently include Burundi, Central African Republic, Djibouti and Somalia.

LPC programs partner with governments, the private sector, local non-governmental organizations and other donor organizations to help advance sustainable, transformational development.
