The Marine Corps Air Station at Kaneohe Bay maintains and operates the airfield facilities of Marine Corps Base Hawaii in support of the readiness and global projection of DoD and military operating forces.
Kaneohe Bay serves as an alternate point of embarkation/point of departure (APOE/APOD) supporting the time phased force deployment data plan (TPFDD) with strategic lift services to U.S. Marine Corps Forces in the Pacific and other DOD agencies.
