Sign-up for HRSA eNews We're Closer Than You Think Here is something you may not know about HRSA – we’re in your community! The HRSA Office of Regional Operations (ORO) includes 10 regional offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, New York (which has a sub-regional office in Puerto Rico), Kansas City, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle. The core functions of the ORO are collaboration and outreach. The regional offices partner with states, tribes, communities, safety-net providers and other stakeholders to eliminate health disparities and improve public health. Regional offices collaborate with states to integrate oral and behavioral health into primary care, advance the adoption and meaningful use of health information technology, increase access to care, and strengthen the health professions workforce. The ORO supports HRSA’s cross-cutting priority initiatives and aligns its efforts with other federal agencies within and outside the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to address significant public health challenges such as obesity prevention and treatment. HRSA’s regional offices are available to engage stakeholders and discuss their priorities, needs, issues and opportunities, share information on how HRSA’s programs and resources can complement regional, state and local resources, provide technical assistance, and improve an organization’s readiness for HRSA funding opportunities. For more information, including contact information, visit the HRSA Office of Regional Operations. 12/29/2010 - HRSA Awards Affordable Care Act Grant to Ohio State University communities
