U.S. Embassy Condemns Bombing in Sangin

U.S. Embassy Statement

The United States strongly condemns today's roadside bombing in Sangin District, Helmand Province, which killed 19 civilians and injured five others.

Our thoughts are with the families of those killed and injured in these callous attacks.  The United States will continue to stand with our Afghan partners as they defend themselves against terrorism and build a more peaceful future.
