Col. Konrad J. Klausner is the Commander, 92nd Mission Support Group at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. He leads the installation and mission support activities including security, civil engineering, force support, contracting, communications and logistics readiness. Additionally, he is responsible to support the 92nd Air Refueling Wing's Air Expeditionary Force contribution through personnel and equipment readiness.

Colonel Klausner graduated from Embry-Riddle University in 1989. He has flown the KC-135 as an instructor and in Operations RESTORE HOPE, SOUTHERN WATCH, ALLIED FORCE and DENY FLIGHT. His career included leadership as a tanker-airlift control element commander and contingency response group mission commander, directing expeditionary teams around the world establishing air mobility operations and opening airbases for Operations UPHOLD DEMOCRACY, VIGILANT WARRIOR, JOINT ENDEAVOR, DEEP FREEZE, ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. The colonel has been assigned to the United States Air Forces Europe, Air Mobility Operations Control Center as an air mobility operations planner in both the airlift and contingency branches. Additionally, he led mobility planning while assigned to the White House Military Office, responsible for the success of multiple Presidential, Vice Presidential and First Lady missions. Prior to assuming his current position, Colonel Klausner was Chief, Global Mobility Division, Directorate of Operations, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Plans and Requirements at Headquarters Air Force, Washington D.C.
