Chief Master Sergeant Rudy Lopez is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 92d Air Refueling Wing, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. He is the principle senior enlisted advisor to the wing commander on morale, welfare, discipline, training, fitness and effective utilization of the wing's 3,300 combat-ready enlisted personnel assigned to 17 squadrons supporting KC-135 tanker operations and Air Education and Training Command's Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape school and 18 tenant organizations.

Chief Lopez was born in El Paso, Texas, and entered the Air Force in June 1983. His background includes various positions in the medical field and served as an additional duty First Sergeant and the Air Force Pharmacy Career Field Manager. His assignments include bases in New Mexico, California, Florida, and South Carolina. The Chief has also served overseas in Turkey, Germany and Hawaii. He also deployed as the 332d Expeditionary Medical Group Superintendent, Joint Base Balad, Iraq January through June 2007 in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, and served as the interim 15 Airlift Wing Command Chief, Hickam AFB Hawaii from May to July 2009.
