Service Providers

“Tremendous work is going on at the State and local level-where States, local governments, nonprofits, faith-based and community organizations, and the private and philanthropic sectors are responsible for some of the best thinking, innovation, and evidence-based approaches to ending homelessness.”- President Barack Obama

Many different types of organizations and agencies provide services for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.  State and local governments, faith-based and non-profit organizations, the federal government, and the private sector are all involved in getting needed resources to individuals spread across the country.  Service providers should whenever possible coordinate with and learn from others in the field.  They should implement evidence based solutions to achieve results while using resources cost-effectively.

Below you will find resources, information, and programs that can help service providers find funding and use it wisely.
