While waiting for your household goods, loaner furniture will be provided for a period of up to 90 for those living off Base or in 802 housing.
If you are living off Base you do need to be on the housing waiting list to be eligible for temporary furniture. The Housing Office will need a copy of your lease and your landlord needs to sign a Statement of Claim form, provided by the Housing Office.
Forest City, our Public Private Venture (PPV) partner will provide you with loaner furniture if you are living in PPV housing.
Lending Locker
Linen, infant items, small appliances, dish, cookware etc. are available at the Lending Locker. This service is for services member (single or married) who are PCSing to Hawaii, from Hawaii or were just married.
The Lending Locker does require you to schedule and appointment. You may make an appointment by contacting 257-7790/7787.
Appliances
All homes on the installation come equipped with an electric range, refrigerator and a washer and dryer.
Forest City will NOT remove their appliances so that you can use your own.
Government owned appliances are not provided for use in the private sector.
