Mission:

Plan and execute command information, media relations and German-American relations programs and functions. Advise the Commander and staff on media relations. Serve as the official spokesperson for the Command.

Vision:

PAO vision is to support the garrison mission and contribute to the community's quality of life by providing timely, relevant and well designed information on services and community activities to Soldiers, Family members and civilians; by foster understanding of the garrison mission through effective media relations; and facilitate cooperation and cultural interaction between the US and German communities.

  • Media Relations: Media coverage, press releases, press queries, media escort, facilitate interviews and media training
  • Host Nation Relations: Manage programs to further German-American friendship; Community assistance programs; special events; ceremonies and activities
  • Command Information: Inform community, communicate emergency information to ensure safety of community members, manage flow of public information through coordination between multiple parties
