NASA Satellite Land Data for MAIRS

Welcome to the NASA GES DISC MAIRS Data and Information Portal. This portal provides online visualization and analysis of NASA satellite remote sensed land data in supporting the international program, Monsoon Asia Integrated Regional Study (MAIRS).

Online Data Visualization and Analysis: Giovanni MAIRS

land surface temperature 2005 jjaGiovanni MAIRS, is an online visualization and analysis tool supporting the MAIRS program with data acquired by NASA satellites and generated by numerical models. The first release of Giovanni MAIRS (mairs_monthly) contains selected monthly global products at reduced resolution (0.25o to 2.5o ).  Additional relevant monthly products, products with increased spatial resolution (0.05o, 1km, or 500 m), and products at different temporal resolution (8day, 16day, and yearly) are added later.   Giovanni provides several different visualization options and basic statistical analysis functions. Giovanni also provides alternative output format options for both imagery and numerical data.  Exploration of interdisciplinary data can be conducted easily through Giovanni MAIRS without downloading large volumes of data files.
