Projects of National and Regional Significance
Projects of National and Regional Significance (PNRS) improve the safe, secure, and efficient movement of people and goods through the U.S. to improve the national economy. Twenty-five projects were designated in SAFETEA-LU. Evaluation and rating guidelines have been established to determine future project funding.
