METRIC POSTERS AND CARDS

Proprietors of Distilled Spirits Plants, Bonded Wine Cellars, Taxpaid Wine Bottling Houses, Wholesale Dealers in Liquor, Importers, and Others Concerned:

Purpose. This circular is to inform industry members and others concerned, of the availability of a metric conversion reference card (ATF F 5100.10), distilled spirits poster (ATF P 5100.6), and wine poster (ATF P 5100.7).

Discussion. As a result of the implementation of metrica- tion, the Bureau, in an effort to aid the American public in the transition from U.S. standards of fill to metric standards of fill, has devised a ready reference pocket-sized metric conversion card, a distilled spirits poster, and a wine poster which give the metric sizes and the U.S. sizes (equivalents) they are replacing.

Availability. A small supply of the metric cards and a supply of the distilled spirits posters and/or the wine posters are enclosed for your use. Additional copies (reasonable quantity) may be obtained from the ATF Distribution Center, 3800 South Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington, Virginia 22206. If you find that the metric cards supplied to you by the Distribution Center pursuant to an order is insufficient for your needs, you are hereby granted permission by this Bureau to have additional copies reproduced at your own expense.

Inquiries. Inquiries concerning this circular should refer to its number and be addressed to the Assistant Director, Regulatory Enforcement, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20226.
