SGT Robert Parrish

SGT Robert Parrish was born and raised in the great city of Anchorage, Alaska. After pursuing a degree in physics, he joined the Army in June of 2006 as a Petroleum Supply Specialist. Upon completion of AIT at Ft. Lee, VA, he and his beautiful wife Mandy welcomed the birth of their first daughter Teagan and was assigned to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at Ft. Hood, TX. He deployed to Mosul, Iraq from 2007-2009 as a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was welcomed home by his wife, daughter Teagan and now 11 month old son Mikhail, who was born during his tour. In May of 2011, SGT Parrish re-enlisted through the BEAR program to train as a Broadcast Journalist. Later that year, he and his wife were blessed with their third child London. He attended the Defense Information School from February to May 2012, followed by an assignment to AFN Stuttgart. SGT Parrish is an adventurer, with a passion for the outdoors and winter sports in particular. He is also the only sponsored Military Professional Disc Golfer in the world.
