Deputy Chief of Mission

Julie Stufft assumed duties as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti in September 2012.  Ms. Stufft has previously served in Foreign Service assignments in Addis Ababa, Warsaw and Moscow, as well as in State Department headquarters in Washington, D.C. 

She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and holds an M.A. from Duke University.  Originally from Ohio, Ms. Stufft speaks Russian, French and Polish.
