Dix parade marshal at Tugfest
Col. Richard Dix, Army Sustainment Command�s chief of staff, served as the parade marshal for the 2011 Tugfest parade, Aug. 12. He was joined by his wife, Cynthia, and daughter, Nikki, at the LeClaire, Iowa, event. Tugfest is a bi-state tug-of-war between Iowa and Illinois, during which teams pull a 2,400 foot, 680-pound rope spanning the Mississippi River between LeClaire and Port Byron, Ill.
