    This should work well with server grade CPUs. For those who want to use it at home i doubt it will be any less noisy. Its going to be too noisy for home operation. Its better for use with servers where nobody really cares of the sound it makes!

    What about the heat transfer from the cpu die to the static base of this cooler ? That's also a problem area where efficiency is lost, not to mention as someone already pointed out 99.9% of all consumer motherboards are mounted vertical.
