2011 Military Contruction Project Readiness Center Addition/Alteration Camp Grafton Training Center, Devils Lake, ND Cost: $12 Million Completion Date: Summer 2012
The project is the North Dakota Army National Guard’s first LEED Silver project and it encompasses remodeling the existing 33,081-square foot Readiness Center and adding approximately 55,836 square feet of new space. Once completed, the facility will house the North Dakota Army National Guard Training Center Detachment, the 136th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, and the 3662nd Maintenance Company. The addition includes 7,084 square feet of administrative space; 6,717 square feet of storage space; 5,033 square feet of locker room space, and a 14,850 square foot enclosed, unheated vehicle storage facility.
2010 Military Construction Project Regional Training Institute (RTI) Phase I Camp Grafton Training Center, Devils Lake, ND Cost: $30.67 Million Building Dedicated: August 7, 2010
The 182,825 square foot facility houses the 164th Regiment. The 164th RTI is the SME and a center of excellence for Engineer 10, 30, and 40 level re-classification training with an average student load of 2,800 students per year. The facility provides 38,439 square feet of administrative space; 47,159 square feet of educational space; 59,323 square feet of storage space and 35,263 square feet of billeting space under one roof and greatly enhances the Regiment’s ability to train Engineer Soldiers from across the country.
