During the annual September community event, embassy employees supported a charity project. This year a non-governmental non-profit organization Pestra spolecnost was selected. The main aim of the organization is to train assistance dogs for the disabled, to assist disabled clients in finding jobs, and to prepare educational programs for schools and general public. The organization receives finances mainly from private sources.

The Pestra spolecnost organization prepared several presentations.  Training specialists Michaela Percinova and Pavla Vokralova, along with Border Collie Jeff and Miniature Poodle Dog Beruska, showed how the four-legged friends can be priceless for a handicapped person.  They also demonstrated that what they do is not a duty but a joy for them. See the video.

The participants contributed either to a collection box or through tips when buying refreshment at the bar. The final amount reached CZK 39,270.
