Process
Engineers
Chemical, mechanical and electrical
engineers are needed to monitor and enhance our chemical and high-pressure
gas processes. Engineers will use their knowledge of operations, systems
and requirements to provide troubleshooting and correction, monitor system
status, review and approve system procedures, and specify and monitor
system testing.
Design
Engineers
Mechanical, electrical and civil
engineers are needed to support design activities. The design engineer
will design systems and components from performance and technical requirements
in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Environmental
Engineers
Environmental engineers will
assess the environmental impact of plant operations, assist in permit
applications and use field laboratory results to investigate and characterize
environmental impact on soil, ground water, and air.
Computer
Science
Computer science/computer engineers
are needed to provide hardware and software support for various process
control systems. Individuals will be required to develop applications
and equipment to solve various operating and engineering problems.
Engineering
Support Specialists
Provide general engineering
support to WSRC engineers to resolve engineering problems. Specific responsibilities
will be to assist engineers in facility monitoring, prepare and review
engineering documentation, perform elementary engineering calculations
and data analysis.
