    The American band MGMT performed in front of thousands of devoted fans in Mexico City April 11 at Palacio de los Deportes. Before the concert, the members of the band invited the U.S. Ambassador Anthony Wayne to attend the sound check, along with several young aspiring musicians from PREPA SI.

    Guadalajara, Jal., 14 October 2011 – Ambassador Anthony Wayne led the Presidential Delegation to Mexico for the Opening Ceremony of the XVI Pan American Games in Guadalajara. Delegates included Ms. Julie Ertel, 2007 Pan American Games Gold Medalist in the Triathlon and 2000 Olympic Silver Medalist in Women’s Water Polo, and Ms. Allyson Felix, 2008 Olympic Gold and Silver Medalist, Women’s Track and Field and member of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
