Exclusive Services Include:

Physical Fitness Assessment (90 mins)

Measures the 5 components of physical fitness: body composition, cardiovascular fitness, musculoskeletal strength,
musculoskeletal endurance and flexibility.

Client will receive an exercise prescription based on their individual fitness goals.

Test preparation includes: wear comfortable workout clothing, no underwire bra, no heavy meal prior to test.


Metabolic Assessment (2 part appointment; initial assessment followed by “Upping Your Metabolism”
group appt – 1 hour)

Accurately determines resting metabolic rate using indirect calorimetry and body composition - Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) estimates total body fat and lean muscle.
Client will receive individual results and a meal plan at follow up metabolism class.
Test preparation includes no physical activity, food, tobacco or drink 4 hours prior (may have water).
Be well hydrated; drink plenty of water day before.

Bod Pod (30mins)

Measurement of body composition (body fat %) using air displacement.

Test preparation includes: wear tight fitting clothes (i.e. spandex shorts, Speedo, sports bra)
No food or drink 2 hours prior to test.

Biofeedback (1 hour class then 30 min sessions)

An introductory class about stress management, then 6 biofeedback sessions – working on stress management techniques such as deep breathing, how to control heart rate and relaxation. Sessions include time in a massage chair.

Wellness Classroom
Allows nurse and health educators to provide educational services on metabolism, stress management, ready to quit brief (tobacco cessation readiness) and much more.
