Novateca – The Global Libraries Program in Moldova – is a two-year program that provides a wide-scale public access to information and communication technologies through the existing public library network. This will occur by networking with a wide range of library stakeholders, training librarians, providing public access to the Internet in more than 50 public libraries in Moldova. The program will also create five regional training centers, which will train over 100 librarians to use new technological resources for the benefit of their communities.
