Web Chat on Consular Issues

On Thursday, October 23, 2008, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Nikolas Trendowski, Visa Chief at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, will be available to answer questions about travel to the United States, the Diversity Visa program, and other consular issues.

Visitors to the U.S. Embassy Booth at the Belgrade Book Fair can take advantage of public computers and post a question. The webchat is also open for the general public.

Those who would like to participate should go to http://statedept.connectsolutions.com/belgrade and "Enter as a Guest" with their name. There is no need to download the Adobe Connect Add-In.

Although the webchat.state.gov site is in English, questions can be entered in Serbian and will be answered in the language used in the inquiry.

The webchat page, accessed by clicking http://statedept.connectsolutions.com/belgrade, once the guest is registered, is open now so that questions can be submitted in advance of the live event.
