MISSION

 

Provide essential Public Health Nursing services in field and garrison environments.

To ensure ready and fit Soldiers prospering in healthy military communities.

 

OUR GOAL

 

Dedicated to promoting, protecting, optimizing and preserving the health and abilities of Soldiers and the military community through delivery of the Public Health Essential Services to individuals, families, and groups.

 

    

Public Health

  • Health and sanitation inspections and training for the Child, Youth and School Service    
  • Patient counseling, education and follow-up care for individuals who are exposed or diagnosed with having a communicable disease such as Tuberculosis.  Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI), HIV, Hepatitis and other diseases of public health concern
  • Unit level HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) education
  • Rabies and Animal Bite Reporting
  • Support of the Influenza Vaccination Program
  • Conduct community health fairs

 

Health Promotion

  • Health, wellness and and immunization guidance for  leisure travel outside of the United States by appointment only
  • Online Self Care class for TRICARE beneficiaries
  • Pregnancy/Post-Partum Physical Training Program for Soldiers, every Tuesday 0700-0800  
  • Pregnancy Orientation for Soldiers, every Tuesday 1330
  • Tobacco Use Cessation classes, new 4 week class starts the first Wednesday 1100-1200 of each month
  • Health Promotion and Health Maintenance information on a variety of wellness topics.
  • Community Outreach and Health Fairs throughout the year.
