I still work for the same company, but its name has changed. How do I change the company name on my Business Services Online (BSO) registration?
Log onto Business Services Online and from the Main Menu, on the left look under the heading Manage Employer Information. Choose Add/Update Employer Information. Edit the company name and submit the updated employer information.
Note: Official company name changes must be performed on the associated Employer Identification Number registered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Changing the Company Name on Social Security's Business Services Online will not change the IRS registered company name.
