Assistant Inspector General for Auditing Alexis M. Stefani testified before the House Transportation and Infrastructure’s Aviation Subcommittee regarding: (1) strengthening background investigation requirements for granting access to secure areas of the airport, (2) controlling access to secure airport areas and holding employees accountable for access control requirements, (3) implementing and deploying technology that enhances screener performance, and (4) establishing a strategic plan that integrates employees and technology into a comprehensive, seamless security program.
