Transmission Services Apprenticeship Program BPA is looking for motivated women and men who are interested in the following crafts: Power System Electrician High Voltage Line Worker Substation Operator If you like the outdoors or working with high-tech equipment, BPA has the right position for you. Our Apprenticeship programs are 3 to 4 year paid training programs. During this time, students will go through steps, each six months. You must pass a review at the end of each step in order to progress to the next level. Training is a combination of progressively difficult on-the-job experiences, classroom study, correspondence courses, and homework. Apprentices will be promoted to Journeyman after successfully passing the final step review and be assigned to vacant Journeyman positions as they open up. Go to the Job Site
