How does a student have his/her civilian credit applied to the CCAF record? CCAF accepts only official transcripts from civilian institutions. The transcript must be mailed or transmitted directly from the civilian institution to CCAF. CCAF will not accept transcripts marked "Issued to Student," unofficial transcripts, or faxed transcripts. Transcripts are not acceptable from students, counselors, recruiters, or any other third party.
How much time should be allowed for student’s record to be updated?
Please allow at least 30 days for the student record to be updated once the transcript has been received at CCAF.
CCAF processing of incoming transcripts includes transcript receipt, identification, scanning into Singularity, transcribing courses to student record, and course evaluation for degree program applicability.
How can a student view his or her record?
A student may view his/her progress report on Air Force Virtual Education Center through the AF Portal at https://www.my.af.mil
CCAF current and former students have several options to order CCAF transcripts. Please read through all of the options and find the best solution to fit your need.

Non-Air Force Members:
Apply Credit to CCAF Records
1) All current and former active duty, guard, and reserve Air Force members can order a transcript free of charge through the CCAF online system. Orders are processed over night and mailed out within two business days of the order. All orders placed through the CCAF system are mailed through the United States Postal Service. Please allow ample time for the transcript to be delivered.

In some situations, you may not be able to order a transcript online through our system. If you are unable to order a transcript through the CCAF online system you have the following options:
A) Visit your Air Force education center. They can order your free transcript online and it will be mailed out the following Thursday.
B) Send a written request that includes your full name or former name if appropriate, social security account number, and the address of the location you want the free transcript to be sent. Your signature is required for release of a transcript.

C) For a minimum charge, you can order a transcript through Credentials Inc. online or via telephone from virtually anywhere in the world and your transcript will be mailed out the next business day. Express shipping is offered through this service.

How does a non-Air Force member request a transcript for the first time?
If you are a non Air Force enlisted member, for example a member of another branch of service or a civil service employee who attended a CCAF course, and this is your first time contacting CCAF, you will need to create a CCAF record. Once your record has been created, you can use our normal ordering procedures above.
Once the transcript is received at CCAF, it is routed through
different branches. This process includes the receipt, transcribing, and
the evaluation of civilian courses to your student record.
