The purpose of this class is to familiarize participants with US DOT pipeline safety regulations. Instruction is provided in the application of Federal Pipeline Safety Regulations (Title 49 CFR Parts 190-192) to pipeline operations. The course emphasizes the practical side of regulatory compliance from the level of regulations to the acute, critical, and serious safety violations identified by the U. S. DOT Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
