English Teaching Resources
This page is a compilation of English language online materials, mostly provided by the Department of State Office of English Language Programs. These online resources are for English language teachers and program administrators to support the teaching of English, American studies, civic education, and democratic classroom practices. These resources are in the public domain and can be used for both research and classroom teaching.

- EJournal, USA, a monthly electronic journal available in multiple languages about U.S. foreign affairs and U.S. society and culture.

- US History Learner English. This is the first in a planned series of books to help readers improve their English skills. Each book will teach you something about the United States. This book is about U.S. history.
- Materials for Teaching and Learning English. The U.S. Department of State offers a range of resources and materials that support high-quality English language instruction worldwide. These resources are aimed at supporting teachers of English outside of the U.S.
- English Matters. For English teachers, Stewart Clark's web portal "English Matters" is a treasure trove. Although the site is weighted towards British English, there is much that will be of interest to all teachers of English in Norway, including resources on style, vocabulary, grammar, self-study, dictionaries and translation tools, and many other language and reference resources.
