USAID/El Salvador is supporting health care by assisting programs which provide better care for mothers, children, and populations most at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS.

USAID's health program in El Salvador aims to:

  • Improve the quality of and access to family planning and reproductive health services;
  • Support HIV/AIDS prevention programs and services; and
  • Improve the health status of women and children through increased access to quality maternal and child health.
