Description of Job Duty Competency to be Achieved

Knowledge of NWS procedures and processes.

Description of Need

New employees must possess a basic knowledge of NWS engineering procedures and processes to effectively perform the duties of their positions.

Specific Job Task Skills and Knowledge

1. Ability to effectively use the EMRS system (enter data, transmit data, and extract site specific data).

2. Ability to effectively use the CLS to requisition parts/materials and return items.

3. Ability to work effectively with the NRC to resolve site specific materials issues.

4. Ability to effectively use and maintain EHBs and other technical documentation.

5. Recognize and fulfil property management and inventory responsiblities.

6. Recognize and fulfill Configuration Management responsibilities.

7. Describe the Integrated Logistics Support structure for NWS systems.
