Low-Level Waste Disposal Statistics

Approximately 2 million cubic feet and 780 thousand curies of low-level radioactive waste were disposed of in 2008. The volume and radioactivity of waste vary from year to year based on the types and quantities of waste shipped. Note that as of February 3, 2010, data for 2009 are not yet available.
