USGS National Wetlands Research Center invites artists to participate in 2012 Women's History Month Celebration

The U.S. Geological Survey's National Wetlands Research Center is celebrating Women's History Month by hosting a gallery showcasing the work of area women artists. The exhibit will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday, March 19 through Friday, March 23, 2012. An opening reception will be held Monday, March 19, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. This year's theme is Empowering Women Through Art and Wetland Education.

March 12 is the deadline for submitting Artist Participation forms. To access the form, follow the link below. Contact the Event Coordinator, Gabrielle Bodin, at 337-266-8655 or Email nwrcinfo@usgs.gov for more information.
