Socio-ecological Resilience

NWRC researchers are investigating integrated approaches that focus on socio-ecological integrity and sustainability to determine how wetland ecosystems react to multiple stressors and how natural resource dependent communities adapt. An understanding of ecosystem response to change is important in order to prescribe restoration and management strategies.
