Coastal Change Analysis Program (CCAP)
The Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) is a nationally standardized database of land cover and land change information, developed using remotely sensed imagery, for the coastal regions of the U.S. C-CAP products inventory coastal intertidal areas, wetlands, and adjacent uplands with the goal of monitoring these habitats by updating the land cover maps every five years.

The HEAT software template is an effective way to deliver information about coastal hazards to the public.

Coastal Community Resilience (CCR) Guide
The CCR guide aims to address coastal hazards and reduce risks to vulnerable communities. This guide attempts to broaden perspectives of sector plans so that a more holistic and robust planning framework evolves to elevate the potential for community resilience. The CCR assessment process easily fits into development plans for coastal areas and can thereby complement traditional planning processes used by local and national governments.

International Year of the Reef, Living Reef Publication
The Pacific Services Center partnered with The Nature Conservancy and the Honolulu Advertiser's Newspapers In Education to print the "Living Reef" publication as a special edition newspaper insert on April 16, 2008. The publication was run as part of the state's celebration of the International Year of the Reef. The special section was distributed to 200 schools state-wide for use in classrooms and as a teacher resource. This unique outreach offering promotes literacy and academic achievement by encouraging the use of newspapers in the classroom, conducting teacher training, and developing teacher resources and networks.

International Year of the Reef, Kids Day
NOAA's Pacific Region was the title sponsor of 's Kids Day 2008. The following appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser in the May 7, 2008 special edition newspaper.
