Minority Veterans Program
The goal of the VA Black Hills Minority Veterans Program Coordinator (MVPC) is to provide and promote the use of VA programs, benefits, and services used by minority veterans to make benefits and services more accessible to minority veterans and to evaluate current programs and make recommendations on how the VA can better serve minority veterans.
The Minority Veterans Program (MVP) assures that minority veterans:
- Receive equal service regardless of race, origin, religion, or gender
- Do not encounter barriers in their attempt to access VA services
- Are treated with respect and dignity by VA service providers
