Mobilization Opportunities |
The Illinois Army National
Guard routinely has opportunities for Soldiers to volunteer to mobilize
for deployment.
To volunteer to mobilize for deployment, send an email to
G1Mobvolunteers-il@ng.army.mil and include the following
information:
- Name
- Rank
- Last 4 of your SSN
- Current Unit of Assignment
- Brief description of the position you are in
volunteering for and your current military experience.
- Example: I request consideration for mobilization as a Wheeled
Vehicle Mechanic with any unit. I have four years experience as a
mechanic and am currently assigned to HHC 111 Inf. I have previously
deployed to Iraq from Jan 2007 to Jan 2008. My contact information is
111-222-3333 home, 111-333-4444 cell, and my email is
joe.p.snuffy@us.army.mil.
When you submit your information as a "Volunteer for a Deployment" it
does NOT necessarily mean that you are deploying at once. Your chain of
command is the approving authority and must release you in order to
voluntarily mobilize with another unit. When we locate a compatible
position, you will be notified by the G1. Thank you for your continued
service to our great state and nation.
There are also a Title 10 volunteer mission at National Guard Bureau.
You can
