- Place Keywords - Geographic names of locations covered by a data
set. Place keywords are chosen by the metadata authors. They
include both controlled vocabularies from specific thesauri and
uncontrolled vocabularies, which may include any word or phrase that
the metadata author considers to be appropriate.
- Place Keywords - Multiple Pages, alphabetically
- Place Keywords - Single Page (large)
- Theme Keywords - Common-use words or phrases used to describe
the subject of the data set. Theme keywords are chosen by the
metadata authors. They include both controlled vocabularies from
specific thesauri and uncontrolled vocabularies, which may include
any word or phrase that the metadata author considers to be
appropriate.
