The eight-man 565th Engineer Detachment Forward Engineer Support Team-Advance (FEST-A)returned from its nine-month deployment to Afghanistan to its home base at Honolulu District Jan. 24 where they were welcomed with cheers, flower leis and hugs from family members and District co-workers.

Honolulu District family members and District co-workers welcomed home the 565th Engineer Detachment Forward Engineer Support Team-Advance (FEST-A) from their nine-month deployment to Afghanistan Jan. 24 in front of District headquarters at Fort Shafter. At the redeployment ceremony Pacific Ocean Division Commander Col. Gregory J. Gunter praised the detachment's spirit of volunteerism.

The goal is for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and/ or a donor nation to use the data Hollingsworth provides to build a paved road at the industrial park.
