Unsolicited Proposals

USAID is engaged in a comprehensive development program in Armenia, supporting democratic principles and a free market economy. The specific objectives of the Mission’s program are to: stimulate growth of the competitive private sector and increase investment by both the public and private sectors; develop a safe and sustainable energy sector; promote democracy and good governance; and contribute to social sector reform and enhancing the provision of social services, especially health services.

USAID generally develops its programs in direct consultation with its Armenian counterparts. With very few exceptions, competitive procedures are followed in the selection of specific contractors and grantees to implement USAID’s activities. In this way, the Mission strives to ensure that all activities concentrate on pre-defined objectives, are mutually reinforcing, maximize impact, and promote cost-effectiveness.

Finally, all potential applicants should be aware that USAID has strict accountability requirements, including procedures for PVO registration and pre-award reviews.

USAID/Armenia's guidelines for unsolicited proposals are available at the link below.
